Henderson Brewing Export Stout

Dark and opaque, with a lovely, but short lived, tan head. The nose is a  wonderful bouquet of bittersweet chocolate, overlaying light coffee notes and hints of alcohol. The chocolate and coffee carry on into the flavour along with some roast and a noticeable yet appropriate bitterness. Medium-full bodied with moderate carbonation, and a smooth dry finish with a slight lingering bitterness and alcohol warmth. This beer will become more complex as it warms up, and as headspace becomes available in the glass.  Ideally you’ll want to start at 10-12°C.
