Prince Eddy’s Brewing C.R.E.A.M Ale

Whoah. Cream Ale is a lawnmower beer. Pale and well carbonated, refreshing and uncomplicated.  Boring.

Prince Eddy’s C.R.E.A.M. Ale is not that. The aroma is a hint of citrus and slight berry, bread crusts, weetabix, and very light caramel. As it warms up a bit, some pome fruits start to emerge.  The flavour walks along the same path. Toast, light caramel, some digestive biscuit, and with enough bitterness to support it all. The finish is short, with the biscuit lingering slightly.  Easy to drink, but also something to think about.

Since the season is upon us, this is a good BBQ beer. This is the beer you drink with the meal though, not the one you are sipping while flipping.
